Ocean Scene Surf School
Ocean Scene Surf Shop and surf school is situated in Lahinch overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and offers surf lessons on the easy waves of Lahinch beach. Surf boards and wetsuits to cater for all ages and skill levels.

The lesson lasts 2 hours from start to finish. Starting with theory on the beach where you will learn some basic skills and safety information, they then get you into the water where the fun begins. Over the next hour and a half or so your instructor will watch you transform magically into surfers. Under Ocean Scene Surf School’s watchful eyes you will be amazed at how quick you learn the basic skills of stand up surfing through thoughtful and positive feedback from your friendly instructors.

Ocean Scene Surf School adhere to the Irish surfing associations Guidelines on student to pupil ratio of 8 pupils to 1 instructor and all instructors are Qualified beach lifeguards as well as Qualified surf coaches.

Lahinch Surf School
Learn to surf with Irish Surfing Champion John McCarthy’s Irish Surfing Association approved surf school.

Each lesson is 2 hours long including both land and water work. Learn tips on surf safety and ocean awareness to help you master surfing the waves. Your surf gear is provided. Adults can choose from a weekend surfing course (3 lessons), a package surf weekend, or simply a single lesson. Children (8 to 17 years of age) can join our famous summer kids camp, surfing two hours each day, Monday to Friday. During the summer months of July and August we run surf schools from Lahinch Beach, Spanish Point and Kilkee/Dougmore Beach. A 10% discount 10 people and 20% discount, 20 plus people. Adults €40, students €35 and children €35.

Aloha Surf School
Aloha Surf School runs surfing lessons in the heart of the Burren in Fanore, Co Clare, Ireland. The beautiful Fanore Beach with all its space, solitude and uncrowded waves provides the ideal location for those to learn to surf, We offer the highest quality professional surfing instruction for people of all ages and abilities. Bens Surf Clinic
Bens Surf Clinic is a mobile coaching unit which can set up and run clinics anywhere were there are decent waves. The idea is that surfers can learn on their own boards on their own beach or can try out new beaches to gain more experience. Ben has over twelve years coaching experience.

Bens Surf Clinic is a small school dedicated to progressive coaching of all levels of surfing and helping you to get the best from your surfing. Intensive weekend clinics include fourwater sessions and a theory session. Group size is limited to six people to provide progressive coaching. Weekends are graded to ensure surfers of same levels attend to increase learning. The clinics are run in Lahinch and Bundoran, on the beach which provides the best conditions for surfers level.
All surf equipment can be provided.
All levels and ages are catered for.
Summer week long courses available for teens, as well as one off and one-to-one.

Evening sessions are available for those lucky enough to be able to get
out of work and still make it to the surf. Tuesdays and Wednesday
evenings are the informal evenings.

Every week for July and August there will be the following available:
Teen Camp: week long progressive programme of a session a day for all
those from 13-17 yrs.
Adult Weekly Clinic: week long progressive programme of a session a day .

White Water Surf School
White Water Surf School is based on Spanish Point Beach in county Clare. We cater for all ages, but particularly encourage surfing as a family activity. Spanish Point is a perfect beginners beach with great accommodation and dining options.

Whether you want to try a surf lesson, or buy some equipment, White Water Surf School will do everything they can to ensure that the experience is one you will enjoy.

This ISA approved surf school operates from Spanish Point beach, where Pat has worked as lifeguard for many years so safety is our priority. All lessons are conducted in small groups (maximum 8) which ensures that all students get the required amount of attention to fully enjoy the experience.
